MACAU SUPER EVENT

Macau is set to hold its second super event to promote Muaythai and the upcoming Indoor Asian games.

The event is being organized under the umbrella of the World Muaythai Council (WMC), the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA), the Federation of Amateur Muaythai Asia (FAMA, a member of IFMA), together with the Macau and Hong Kong Muaythai Associations.

This exciting show will be telecasted around the world on Fox Sports, UBC, Euro Sport and live on the internet, and will see some of the worlds biggest Muaythai names in action.

Paul Slowinski, the WMC Super Heavyweight Champion, has been challenged by the Sanda Heavyweight World Champion, Abbas Asaraki, and the card is full of big names in Muaythai including Bruce McFie, Ramazan Ramandov, Hong Kong’s own stars Heung “Bomber” Pak Wing and Joey “Bam Bam” as well as fighters from Australia, China, Hong Kong, France, Russia, Belarus and more. There will be a special Asian fight between Philippines and Hong Kong.

World renowned Fox Sports Commentators Michael “The Voice” Schiavello and Mark the Hammer Castagnini will be verbal sparring partners for the event.

This again will be an event of the highest quality and will promote Macau as the host of the 2nd Indoor Asian Games at which Muay is one of the featured sports, and with the promotional build up organized by WMC, IFMA and FAMA (a member of IFMA) the Hong Kong and Macau Muaythai Associations, Muaythai is sure to be one of the most popular sports.

Accordingly, the supershow will be held on Saturday 2nd of June at the Macau East Asian Games Dome.
